An Optimization Model for Joint Participation of Wind, Photovoltaic and Storage in the Day-ahead Electricity Spot Market Considering Output Uncertainty
In recent years, driven by electricity market-oriented reforms, China is accelerating the construction of an electricity spot market system to meet the needs of the energy transition and the new electricity system. This market model helps optimize the allocation of power resources, improve market efficiency, and promote the consumption and development of clean energy. However, the stochastic and unstable nature of wind power and photovoltaic (PV) power generation has led to increasingly prominent problems such as wind and light abandonment. In order to improve the reliability and economy of the power system, this paper combines the complementary characteristics of wind, solar and storage and the uncertain characteristics of wind and solar output for the first time, conducts an in-depth study on the optimization strategy of wind power, photovoltaic and energy storage to participate in the electricity spot market, establishes the output model of the combined system of wind power, photovoltaic and energy storage, and proposes the optimization strategy of wind power joint participation. This joint participation model considers the energy coupling effect between wind power, photovoltaic and energy storage, and provides a new perspective for market decision-making of wind and solar storage stations.
