Resilient Distributed Control for DC Microgrids Under Unbounded FDI Attacks and Stochastic Noise Disturbances
Distributed control technology has been widely used in DC microgrids for its scalability and flexibility. Nevertheless, the information exchange between distributed generators (DGs) may be affected by various types of stochastic noises and cyber attacks. To ensure the stability of the microgrid systems under stochastic noise and unbounded FDI attacks, we develop a hidden cyber layer that is integrated with the original cyber layer in the cyber system and then design a resilient distributed controller. By utilizing the hidden network layer, the controller can introduce a compensation term in the feedback loop to compensate for the unbounded FDI attack signal. Furthermore, a consensus gain function is introduced to make the microgrid systems robust to noise disturbances. The system stability is rigorously analysed using stochastic stability theory and Lyapunov function. The performance and the effectiveness of the proposed resilient distributed controller are verified by MATLAB/Simulink.
