Improving Customer Experience with MongoDB: Personalization and Recommendations
Aim: This study aimed to explore MongoDB's strategic benefits in the financial industry, particularly in enhancing individualized customer experiences. With its real-time data processing function and integration with emerging technologies such as AI, ML, and blockchain, MongoDB offers a unique strategic advantage. Methods: A qualitative case study methodology was used to explore MongoDB's architecture, flagship features, and how it strategically enables data-driven personalization at scale. Results: The research confirms that MongoDB's document-oriented storage, horizontal scalability, and aggregation framework remarkably improve the financial institutions' capacity to make customized portfolio management, real-time trading insights, and context-aware financial capabilities. Of interest is the finding that MongoDB's smooth integration with AI models facilitates quicker fraud detection and makes it possible to provide real-time, personalized investment suggestions. Besides, MongoDB is functional in compliance with regulations in terms of financial factors due to the excellent security range of options, including encryption and access rights based on roles. Conclusion: The research paper concludes that MongoDB, with its flexibility and real-time processing power, is a game changer in the financial services industry. It empowers stakeholders to improve customer engagement and operational efficiency. Recommendations: Institutions should embrace MongoDB as a core data platform, empowering them to facilitate real-time analytics and customer-led decisions. Future studies should explore MongoDB's role in hybrid-cloud environments and its connection with next-generation, privacy-preserving AI models.
