Fragmentation functions for axial-vector heavy tetraquarks: A TQ4Q1.1 update
We present and discuss the release of novel sets of collinear, variable-flavor-number-scheme fragmentation functions for axial-vector, fully heavy <a:math xmlns:a="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><a:msub><a:mi>T</a:mi><a:mrow><a:mn>4</a:mn><a:mi>c</a:mi></a:mrow></a:msub><a:mo stretchy="false">(</a:mo><a:msup><a:mn>1</a:mn><a:mrow><a:mo>+</a:mo><a:mo>−</a:mo></a:mrow></a:msup><a:mo stretchy="false">)</a:mo></a:math> and <e:math xmlns:e="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><e:msub><e:mi>T</e:mi><e:mrow><e:mn>4</e:mn><e:mi>b</e:mi></e:mrow></e:msub><e:mo stretchy="false">(</e:mo><e:msup><e:mn>1</e:mn><e:mrow><e:mo>+</e:mo><e:mo>−</e:mo></e:mrow></e:msup><e:mo stretchy="false">)</e:mo></e:math> tetraquarks. Working within the single-parton approximation at leading power and employing nonrelativistic QCD factorization adapted for tetraquark Fock states, we model the initial-scale fragmentation input using a recent calculation for the constituent heavy-quark channel. Standard Dokshitzer-Gribov-Lipatov-Altarelli-Parisi evolution is then applied, ensuring consistent implementation of evolution thresholds. To support phenomenology, we investigate <i:math xmlns:i="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><i:mi>NLL</i:mi><i:mo>/</i:mo><i:msup><i:mrow><i:mi>NLO</i:mi></i:mrow><i:mo>+</i:mo></i:msup></i:math> rates for tetraquark-jet systems at the High-Luminosity LHC and Future Circular Collider from (sym). This study further integrates exotic matter explorations with precision QCD calculations.
