A Look at Palliative Care at Home Systematic Literature Review
This article aims to review the literature on palliative care at home. Most palliative care patients prefer home care, and 70% of terminally ill cancer patients want to die at home. Caring for a patient with palliative care needs at home is a challenge for the family/primary caregiver. Family support is a key concept in palliative care. The family/primary caregiver hopes to find appropriate responses to their needs to ensure health and social care with the highest quality and dignity for their loved ones.
