PROJECT MANAGEMENT TOOLS THROUGH LIFE CYCLE STAGES

The modern methods and tools of project management at different stages of the project lifecycle have been considered. These tools help to structure processes, enhance decision-making efficiency, and ensure the achievement of goals. The project lifecycle is typically divided into the following stages: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closure. It has been proven that for each stage of the project, it is advisable to use appropriate methods and tools that address different tasks. Special attention is given to identifying the relationship between tools and stages of the lifecycle. At the initiation stage, methodological tools help clearly define the project goal, customer needs, key requirements, and expectations, providing a solid foundation for further planning and establishing clear project requirements. At the planning stage, methods and tools enable the creation of a detailed work plan, including timelines, resources, budget, and responsible individuals. During the execution phase, project management tools assist in effectively organizing the team’s work and ensuring a high level of interaction between project participants. They support motivation and timely information provision, which is crucial for the successful completion of tasks, ensuring that the work complies with established standards and requirements. Methodological tools used in the monitoring and control phase allow for regular assessment of the project's success and early identification of deviations for corrective actions. Methodological tools at the closure stage are critical for achieving high-quality results, formalizing the closure processes, and analyzing the project's effectiveness. They help to ensure the clear completion of all administrative, financial, and technical tasks, as well as applying the lessons learned to improve future projects. The application of modern methodological tools in project management at each stage of the project lifecycle helps to reduce risks, optimize resources, enhance team efficiency, and achieve project success.
