Enhancing Motor Control and Injury Prevention in Overhead Athletes Using Virtual Reality-Based Training and Assessment
This study explores the effectiveness of virtual reality (VR)-based training in improving motor control and preventing injuries among overhead athletes. The research compares traditional training methods with VR-enhanced training over 8 weeks using performance metrics, biomechanical analysis, and injury surveillance. Results demonstrate statistically significant improvements in neuromuscular coordination, proprioceptive accuracy, and reduced injury incidence in the VR group. Findings support the integration of VR as a supplementary tool in sports training programs.
