Research on 3D construction method of transmission lines based on LiDAR point cloud and structural model matching
The 3D model of transmission lines plays a crucial role in the design, planning, and operation of transmission lines. Aiming at the problems of susceptibility to noise interference, low model restoration, and loss of details in LiDAR point cloud reconstruction, this paper proposes a 3D construction method for transmission lines based on matching laser point clouds with solid models. Using DGCNN algorithms to find tower models that match the laser point cloud from the solid 3D model library, and then using an improved ICP algorithm for tower model registration and tower height transformation, the accurate model and positioning of the tower are obtained. Finally, the k-means clustering algorithm is used to construct a three-dimensional model of the power line connecting the towers, and the accurate modeling of the entire transmission line is completed. The experimental results show that this method can effectively achieve automatic and high-precision reconstruction of transmission lines.
