A novel 16-hydroxy-palmitic acid tethered <scp>d</scp>-configured homo-chiral triphenylalanine based nanofibrillar scaffold with innate anticancer potential
A homochiral triphenylalanine system when tethered to 16-hydroxy-palmitic acid at the N-terminus displays excellent gelation propensity with mechanoresponsiveness and innate anticancer potential. We anticipate that the amphiphile-lactate derivative compound VI plays a pivotal role in addressing the cancer related challenges probably <i>via</i> an extrinsic apoptotic pathway.
