Four-in-one multifunctional iron(<scp>iii</scp>) complex for cancer theranostics: unique integration of targeted delivery, photodynamic therapy, and dual imaging modalities
We report Fe2 as the first complex with four distinct functions for cancer theranostics: GLUT-1 targeting, red-light PDT, optical imaging, and T 1 -weighted MRI. It selectively kills cancer cells, spares normal cells, and enables multimodal imaging.
