Percepção de usuários do Centro de Convivência São Paulo/BH/MG sobre a inserção no trabalho formal
The Brazilian Psychiatric Reform is marked by constant efforts by various actors to assert the defense of citizenship and the rights of people with mental disorders, including the right to work. The objective of this study is to understand the perception of users of the Community Center regarding the experience of the Project for the Insertion of Mental Health Users into the Formal Labor Market and the possible repercussions on their daily lives. A qualitative study was conducted through semi-structured interviews with ten users. Participants reported difficulties in reintegrating into work after experiencing mental suffering. The Project was pointed out by users as an opportunity to return to the labor market and to create social ties, but they also revealed difficulties related to the conditions, precariousness and organization of work, in a way similar to the reality of other socially vulnerable groups in the country.
