Degradation mechanisms in low-voltage Wadsley–Roth TiNb2O7 electrodes upon cycling with Li

Deep lithiation of TiNb 2 O 7 was found to limit its high rate performance. Amorphisation of the surface and a 10% volume change during lithiation that leads to electrode degradation were found to be possible causes.
