THE DEVELOPMENT OF PENSION SYSTEMS AND THE POSSIBILITY OF ITS USE IN THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC

This study examines social policy as an essential element of public administration that ensures decent living standards for pensioners in the Kyrgyz Republic. It analyzes the formation stages of the Kyrgyz pension system and identifies problems of insufficient public awareness. Various pension models are presented and classified by state intervention and funding sources. International experience has revealed effective methods for improving the system. The necessity of reforms is demonstrated by considering demographic, social, and economic factors for long-term sustainability. Demographic changes, including population aging, create an additional burden on the pension system, requiring a comprehensive approach to ensure financial sustainability.
