MIGRATION PROCESSES OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC IN THE CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP IN THE EAEU
In recent years, migration in the Kyrgyz Republic has become increasingly complex and multilayered, shaped by a combination of economic, social and political factors. Unemployment and limited job opportunities have compelled many citizens to seek income overseas. The country's 2015 accession to the Eurasian Economic Union reduced barriers for migrants from EAEU states. Analysis for 2014-2023 revealed predominant outward migration, although a positive balance was observed in the last two years. The findings highlight migration’s significant impact on the economy and society, emphasizing the importance of effective state policy in managing these processes and leveraging the potential of returning professionals.
