METHODS FOR PROCESSING STATISTICAL DATA USING MICROSOFT EXCEL

This article examines statistical data processing methods using Microsoft Excel's “Data Analysis” package and “Regression” tool. This study analyzes two-factor statistical indicators and the in-depth relationship between dependent and independent factors. This study applied correlation and regression analyses to medical data to explore the connection between the heart rate and breathing rate. The results show that Excel tools are more effective than calculators or individual-program operators for statistical analysis. The methodology benefits specialists working in various fields with statistical data who lack special mathematical training. The research shows that identical conclusions can be obtained using specialized packages and mathematical-statistics formulas.
