Aspects of Operating Low-Cost Bistatic Radar Transmitters
The paper considers aspects of operating low-cost and expendable bistatic radar transmitters, primarily focusing on transmitter design and challenges with substituting transmitter gain for increased integration time. Increasing the integration time results in various effects, such as range-walk, Doppler spread, and target decoherence. Solutions to manage these effects are presented and successfully applied to measurement data.
