Radar/Optro Meta-sensor: Augmented Radar Tracking Performances by Adaptive Camera Resources Allocation
This paper proposes a radar/optro meta sensor in which auxiliary cameras help one main radar to track the targets it detects and to continue tracking in case the radar loses one track. We present two approaches on real data to mitigate the radar track loss with the support of one auxiliary camera in a single target scenario. We investigate multi-target tracking with intermittent support of two cameras in a similar setting on simulated data.
