Adaptive Interference Mitigation for Time-Varying Narrowband Interference in Automotive CS radars
Narrowband interference causing false detection of the target can happen when the chirp rate of interference CS (Chirp sequence) radar is the same as that of the measurement CS radar. Narrowband interference in actual CS radars is time-varying due to small chirp rate difference thus an adaptive interference mitigation technique is required to suppress the time-varying narrowband interference when automotive CS radar suffers narrowband interferences. This paper proposes a novel adaptive interference mitigation technique for time-varying narrowband interference and demonstrates the validity of the proposed technique by experiments.
