Iterative Physical Optics Model for Near Field Backscattering from Dielectric and Lossy Targets
This study presents a comprehensive framework for the modeling of backscattering from lossy and dielectric targets, addressing the near field interactions. By adopting iterative physical optics (IPO) as the basic model, our approach analyzes different existing methods to handle dielectric and lossy materials, and to conclude on the quality of their results regarding the modeling of the surface integration.
