Analysis of Clinical Features and Factors Associated with Poor Postoperative Outcome in Patients with Common Peroneal Nerve Entrapment Syndrome Presenting to a Spinal Center
Objective : The underlying pathologies of common peroneal nerve entrapment syndrome (CPNE) in neurosurgical clinics in Japan are expected to differ from those in overseas countries because many of our patients have a history of spinal disease, and few have a history of weight loss, lower extremity surgery, or trauma. Our CPNE cases were investigated to clarify the underlying pathologies and variables correlating with postoperative outcomes in Japanese neurosurgical practice.
