Successful ablation of ventricular tachycardia in which resected infundibular septum served as a critical isthmus in a patient with double-outlet right ventricle after Rastelli surgery
Double–outlet right ventricle (DORV) is a complex congenital heart disease characterized by diverse morphological features. Various surgeries (arterial switch operation, biventricular repair with intra–ventricular rerouting, Rastelli surgery, and Fontan operation) are performed depending on the morphology. The incidence of sudden death is reportedly high in patients who have undergone surgical repair for DORV, with ventricular tachycardia (VT) identified as a significant risk factor for late sudden death.
