Research on the Current Situation, Challenges, and New Development Opportunities of China-Italy Higher Education Cooperation

In the process of globalization, the role of higher education cooperation in international relations and cultural exchange has become increasingly prominent. As major global powers, the cooperation between China and Italy in higher education not only leads to mutual benefits but also promotes the integration of Eastern and Western educational systems. This paper focuses on exploring the current state of China-Italy higher education cooperation, analyzing the challenges and opportunities within this collaboration. On one hand, it examines the negative impacts of cultural differences and language barriers on educational quality and academic exchange; on the other hand, it discusses how the differences in educational systems can either serve as obstacles or opportunities in cooperation. Additionally, the paper evaluates the strategic significance of China-Italy educational cooperation and seeks pathways to enhance the international competitiveness and global educational influence of both countries. Through in-depth analysis, this study aims to provide practical recommendations for the development of China-Italy higher education cooperation and contribute to a greater breakthrough for both countries on the global education stage.
