Optimization of Capacity Configuration for Electricity Hydrogen Coupling Energy Hub System
Developing the electricity hydrogen coupling energy hub system is an important technological path to promote the construction of the New-type Power System, while the fluctuations of the solar/wind resources and the electrical/thermal loads pose challenges to the stability, economy, and efficiency of the system operation. In this work, an energy hub model based on the meteorological information, the electrical/thermal load data and the components’ characteristics is put forward and the energy management strategy based on the energy storage status of the components is proposed. The capacity configuration of the energy hub system is optimized by the means of the NSGA-II algorithm with the objectives of energy supply reliability, cost-effectiveness, and leanness of the energy management. The results indicate that the configuration with renewable energy as the main source of power supply can achieve lower system costs and higher utilization rates of hydrogen components.
