Multi Variable Decoupling ADRC Based on Smith

Regarding the time-varying, coupled, and time delayed multi input and multi output processes that exist in most thermal objects in thermal power units. This article assumes that the object model is known, and uses the parameters of the model to design a decoupler based on inverse decoupling technology, converting the transfer function matrix of the model into a diagonal matrix. For time-delay systems, a Smith prediction compensator is designed. ADRC were designed for the decoupled and Smith estimated compensated channels. That is, based on Smith's multivariable Decoupling ADRC (Smith-DADRC). In the simulation experiment, taking the Wood Berry model of the distillation tower as an example, the Smith-DADRC algorithm is compared with three control algorithms: ADRC, Smith-ADRC, and DADRC. The Smith-DADRC algorithm has faster adjustment speed, better decoupling performance, and better ability to eliminate time delay. The method proposed in this article can be applied to thermal objects and can effectively solve the control problems of time-varying, coupled, and time-delay systems with multiple inputs and outputs in thermal objects.
