Design and Application of Airborne Equipment for Hidden Grounding Fault Detection in Distribution Networks

The safe and reliable operation of distribution network is very important for the protection of social and economic activities and daily life of residents. As one of the key factors affecting the reliability of power supply, the fast and accurate detection of recessive grounding fault in distribution network is of great significance for improving the operation efficiency of power grid and reducing economic losses. In this paper, an airborne equipment-based method to locate the hidden grounding fault in distribution network is proposed, which aims to realize the rapid location and diagnosis of the fault in distribution network through the remote sensing technology carried by UAV, combined with advanced signal processing and data analysis algorithms. The hardware design of airborne equipment includes the selection of UAV flight platform, the configuration of remote sensing module and the construction of ground control and data post-processing system. In terms of software design, this paper focuses on the construction of fault analysis model, including the development of fault feature extraction, fault pattern recognition and fault location algorithm. The airborne equipment proposed in this paper shows high efficiency in hidden grounding fault detection of distribution network, and provides a new technical means for intelligent inspection of distribution network.
