AVALIAÇÃO DE PROCESSO DE UM PROTOCOLO DE INTERVENÇÃO COM HOMENS ACUSADOS DE VIOLÊNCIA CONTRA A MULHER

Increasingly, the importance of interventions with male perpetrators of violence has been recognized when it comes to the prevention and eradication of violence against women. In this sense, for the dissemination and expansion of these interventional actions to be possible, actions such as the assessment of their completeness and feasibility are essential. Based on this, this study aimed to evaluate an intervention protocol with men accused of violence against women, based on the process evaluation criteria. This article had a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive design. Participated in this study 11 men framed under Law 11,340 Maria da Penha and with the judicial process in progress. As main results, it was noticed that this intervention protocol was properly implemented and followed what had been previously stipulated for its accomplishment. As it is a judicial scenario, feelings such as distrust and insecurity of the participants were important aspects of the context, which needed to be transposed. However, the fact that the intervention is based on welcoming and a space for listening and security, it was possible to overcome these initial resistances and to fulfill the reflective and psychoeducational purpose of the intervention, which was about reflection and subsequent acquisition of new conceptions about topics such as masculinity, gender and violence. From the participants' reports, it is understood that they were able to build new perspectives, and with this, review consolidated ideas that are sometimes so rigid and foster a violent stance. An important validated characteristic of this protocol is its possibility of occurring in an online format, becoming an important bridge between prevention and the population, by contributing to the replication of this intervention and, in practice, contributing to the prevention of violence.
