AI-Driven Green Accounting for Sustainable Development
For many years, green accounting has been one of the most essential accounting methods, focusing on including environmental costs and benefits in financial decision-making. With artificial intelligence, new opportunities are opened to work on green accounting by providing better data accuracy, more efficiency in analysis, and more robust predictive capabilities. This paper investigates the integration of AI in green accounting practice and its potential for accomplishing sustainable development goals. This analysis of their environmental impact and resource management is discussed, facilitated by crucial AI technologies in machine learning and predictive analytics. Examination of data sources and collection methods, as well as AI-driven measuring and reducing techniques of carbon footprints, are presented in this paper through case studies of successful implementations. That also gears toward integrating AI-driven green accounting into corporate environmental responsibility and its underpinning regulatory frameworks. Notwithstanding that AI has much to offer toward green accounting, there are also limitations and ethical considerations. The paper concludes by pointing out future research and emerging trends that might make AI-driven green accounting more effective in promoting sustainability.
