The Transmission Line of Solar Farm
Australia is one of the most sunny continents in the world. Given the stable policy environment, solar energy has great potential for power generation in Australia in the coming decades. Solar energy is a rapidly growing industry in Australia. The overall idea of this project is: under the premise that the voltage does not exceed the range and no overload, the best scheme with the lowest cost is designed. A total of 180 options are available from the material provided. The team first excluded the 9mm conductor based on whether the rated current was reached. With the help of network data and calculation, we excluded pattern1 of bundling. After that, our team conducted simulation and calculated costing of the remaining 108 schemes by MATLAB. Then we chose Tower A/Bundle2/Conductor2/Bus5 as final solution and gave the costing. After that, we calculated the ABCD parameters and conducted fault analysis and circuit security based on Power World and knowledge that we learned.
