The Investigation on Potential Characteristic Markers for Assessing the Aging State of Paper Insulation of Transformers
There are more than a dozen aging products in aged oil. However, the chemical aging characteristic quantities used in the joint evaluation research are no more than three. It is necessary to further explore which products can become potential characteristic quantities. In this paper, a molecular dynamics simulation model of cellobiose molecular was established and geometrically optimized. Then an insulating paper model with 20 cellobiose molecules was further built. An aging simulation of 100 ps duration at 2500 K was conducted. The results indicate that methanol and acetaldehyde are expected to become the characteristic quantities in the early aging stage (0–30 ps); glyoxal, furfural (2-FAL) and ethanol are expected to become the characteristic quantities in the middle aging stage (30–70 ps); methyl formate, ketene, n-hexane, furfuryl alcohol and 2-butanone are expected to become the characteristic quantities in the later aging stage (70–100 ps). This paper attempts to discover more potential characteristic quantities to improve the assessment accuracy.
