Blockchain for Green HRM Reporting and Accountability

The integrated blockchain technology imparts to Green HRM an innovative line of reporting and accountability on environmental sustainability. This paper examines the possible benefits related to using blockchain for Green HRM, especially the potential it has for transparent, secure, and immutable records of environmental practices within organizations. This will make the HRM processes in blockchain ensure that organizations account for sustainable practices properly, increasing transparency and accountability. Blockchain can also be very instrumental in enhancing data security and privacy and might reduce the potential risks associated with the management of sensitive employee data within organizations. Not only this, but the paper also goes on to look at the regulatory and compliance benefits blockchain can provide to enable firms to comply better with environmental legislation. The paper shares successful applications and lessons learned, paving the way for future innovations. Very briefly, blockchain technology has enormous potential for transforming Green HRM reporting and accountability in an organization towards more sustainable and responsible practices.
