Research on Theoretical and Statistical Line Loss Calculation Methods of Low Voltage Photovoltaic Station Area

Distributed photovoltaic access poses new challenges for the line loss management. In order to enhance the management level of PV station area, it is of great significance to obtain the suitable calculation methods of statistical and theoretical line loss. The statistical and theoretical line loss of 1 Dongqi station area on sunny day and on cloudy day is calculated. It is found that the statistical and theoretical line loss on two typical days are in good agreement. The error between the statistical and theoretical line loss is mainly caused by the assumption that all currents are in the same phase. The effectiveness of statistical and theoretical line loss calculation methods is demonstrated.
