A Comparison to Mitigate Voltage Dip Using DVR and UPFC

This paper conducts a thorough analysis of power quality and the function of dynamic voltage restorers (DVRs) in resolving issues with power quality that arise from improper loading and power distribution in the power supply. These issues include mitigating voltage dips to safeguard devices that are sensitive to power quality. We will also be contrasting the DVR's compensation results with those of the FACTS devices. A device used in electrical power distribution networks to reduce voltage sags and interruptions is called a dynamic voltage restorer (DVR). Voltage sags, sometimes referred to as voltage dips or brief disruptions, can happen for a number of causes, including system malfunctions, the initiation of heavy loads, or other disturbances.
