Research on the Optimized Adjustment Method for Medium-Long Term Contract of Electricity Market

The optimized adjustment of medium-long term contract curves is very important for the electricity market development. One optimization method considering typical rules of China's electricity market is proposed in this paper. The method focus on the medium-long term contract power curve last chance to adjust before the day-ahead spot market, new emerging market entities with energy storage or load regulation capabilities are taken as the sides of the contract. Firstly, the optimized adjustment strategies is provided, and based on the price difference contract mechanism between with the medium-long term and spot markets, the optimization model is formed with the goal of maximizing the overall profits of both sides. To reduce the impact of load and electricity price uncertainty, one data-driven based DRO (Distributionally Robust Optimization) algorithm is adopted. After the optimization of contract, one transferring benefits and power relocation cost allocation method is proposed by applying the Shapley allocation algorithm, makes both sides of the contract can autonomously negotiate by common accepted rules. Case study shows that the method can reduce the risk of price fluctuations in the spot market, improve the overall economic level of medium-long term contract, and make better connection between with the medium-long term market and the spot market.
