Kinetic Modeling and Simulation of Emergency Recovery Process for Tiltrotor UAVs
Tilt rotor unmanned aerial vehicles can take off and land vertically in a small space, and can also cruise at high speed, so their application scope is increasingly widespread. However, its tilting mechanism has complex control method, and frequent malfunctions, and there is a complex flight environment. In response to this issue, this paper designs an emergency parachute-landing recovery system for tilt rotor UAVs, analyzes the mechanical properties of each phase of the emergency recovery process, establishes dynamic models for each phase of the recovery process, and then applies MATLAB software to simulate and analyze the UAV recovery process. The simulation results show that in the event of a malfunction, the emergency recovery system can safely recover UAVs that are in a vertical takeoff or level flight state, and there will provide a reference for the improvement and optimization of subsequent recovery systems.
