Intelligent Defense For Smart Grids: Leveraging Resgen And Cho Models For Iot Security
The intrusion detection and security of Smart Grid IoT have only become so unimaginably significant with Internet of Things devices increasingly being integrated into smart grids at breakneck speed. It is a tedious process when it comes to detecting intrusions and countering them in an advanced dynamic system like this. Sophisticated models, which are designed to effectively determine the threats and react against them in real-time, must be utilized. This research addresses the above two problems by introducing two new models, ResGEN and ChO, which were developed to improve the accuracy and efficiency of intrusion detection in Smart Grid IoT systems. The ResGEN model integrates residual learning with generative methods in a bid to provide sophistication intrusion detection capability with major features retained from the system. Residual connections in ResGEN allow it to learn difficult patterns and outliers with fewer false negatives and false positives that render the solution potent in real-time intrusion detection. The ChO model uses novel optimization strategies merged with deep learning for adaptive hyperparameter tuning and optimizes performance both at training time and at model execution. This combination process makes the model forever optimized and hence flexible and adjustable to various modes of attacks. This paper therefore presents two novelties: using residual learning in combination with generative networks in ResGEN and using Cheetah Optimization in ChO. These novelties will improve both the effectiveness and efficiency of the whole detection system. The ChO model also enhances the efficiency of the intrusion detection process, thereby that of the system.
