Revolutionizing Genetic Manipulation: Artificial Intelligence-Powered Precision in CRISPR-Cas9 Gene Editing
CRISPR-Cas9 has revolutionized gene editing by enabling precise genetic modifications. However, factors such as off-terrain effects, variable editing efficiency, and delivery complications hamper its translational applicability in clinics and industries. Hence, this work proposes an AI-assisted approach by which CRISPR-Cas9 might become even more accurate. In this study, the AI deep-learning model algorithms were engaged in gRNA design generation, off-targets minimization, and editing strategy refinements based on live feedback. Targeted delivery modes additionally assisted in cellular uptake and CRISPR-Cas9 activity. These advances now have been experimentally proved to improve editing accuracy and efficiency significantly. This interdisciplinary intervention promotes the advancement of gene therapy while providing a whole new framework for tackling the ethical and safety-related concerns associated with genome editing.
