Enhancing Emergency Response with Cloud-Based Access to Patient Medical Histories
It's necessary to obtain a patient's medical history to provide timely and effective care in emergency medical situations. However, it may be challenging to obtain the information in case the patient is unconscious or cannot communicate on their own. In this article, we present a safe approach for patient medical history access in situations involving human error. To securely access and decrypt a patient's medical records from a centralized database, our system employs a doctor's decryption key. The encryption strategy, access strategies, and communication protocols form some of the implementation details of this system we discuss. Also, presented a case study that demonstrates just how effective our approach is for real emergency applications.
