Enhanced Soldier Support System (ES3) Utilizing LoRa Technology with Emergency SOS Feature

In this report, we propose a LoRa module with SOS capabilities for potential use in troop assistance devices. Leveraging the Internet of Things, this wearable technology tracks soldiers' real-time data, such as health metrics and exact positions, while on the battlefield. Typically, these systems use wearable sensors to collect and transmit data on a soldier's physiological indicators, including heart rate, oxygen levels, and body temperature, as well as their location and movement patterns. They also feature emergency SOS buttons. The gathered data can assess a soldier's physical state and identify early signs of injury or illness. Additionally, real-time location information from position monitoring systems enhances situational awareness and operational efficiency. The proposed system uses low-cost, highly effective, and accurate LoRa and MANET transmitters to relay soldiers' information to the base station. This approach offers more effective and precise data collection, with potential applications in monitoring location and health information using simpler sensors.
