Non-Terrestrial Network Aided NOMA Based Underwater Acoustic Communication System
In this paper, we present a novel communication system for a Non Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) based Underwater Acoustic Communication (UAC) System. We consider a Radio Frequency (RF) carrier to serve the Non-Terrertrial Network (NTN) link characterized by the Multi-Cluster Fluctuating Two Ray (MFTR) fading model and <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\alpha-\mathcal{F}$</tex> fading model to characterize the fronthaul UAC link. We have analyzed the proposed system in terms of outage probability. The results are analyzed for various atmospheric and underwater system parameters to provide further insights into the proposed system. The Monte Carlo Simulations are performed to validate the mathematical results.
