The radiating patch emitting EM-Waves includes etched-chamfered rectangular-patch and partial-ground plane responsible for achieving three resonance bands. The single port antenna offers bandwidth of 5.04GHz-7.72GHz (WLAN) and 25.24GHz-33.91GHz (n258) bands. The single-port also shows good impedance matching at 5.50GHz and 28.0GHz nearing to ideal values. The two-port <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\mathbf{MIMO}_{\mathbf{WLAN}/\mathbf{n}\mathbf{258}}$</tex> antenna maintains the bandwidth achieved by single-port configuration offering maximum peak gain of 2.39dBi at 5.50GHz and 4.70dBi at 28.0GHz. The proposed <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\mathbf{MIMO}_{\mathbf{WLAN}/\mathbf{n}\mathbf{258}}$</tex> antenna also maintains diversity-parameters within the standard values. The proposed work is capable of application in WLAN band and can be deployed in 5G infrastructure.
