AI for Cancer Detection
Deep learning has proven beneficial in a number of healthcare sectors, including digital pathology, diagnostic imaging, pharmaceutical creation, hospitalization predictions, cancer and stromal cell classification, medical assistance, and more. A patient’s chances of survival are influenced by their cancer prognosis. due to the possibility of the sickness spreading. The clinical treatment that cancer patients get would be greatly improved with an accurate cancer prediction. The use of advanced mathematical modeling and machine learning techniques, which advance translational biology research, is primarily responsible for the creation of cancer prognostic projections. Processing power has increased significantly in recent years, and artificial intelligence technologies—deep learning in particular—have advanced quickly. Moreover, because large-scale next-generation sequencing is affordable and the data are accessible via open-source databases, there is an opportunity to develop more powerful and accurate models for cancer prognostic prediction. It is doable. In this study, we validated the most current research in this field and created a deep learning model to predict the prognosis of cancer. Deep learning has been proposed as a more comprehensive model that uses large amounts of data to provide more accurate predictions with less effort required for data processing. Studies have shown that the use of deep learning to cancer prognosis might equal or exceed the efficacy of existing methods such as Cox-PH. Deep learning is expected to improve cancer prediction by using multi-omics data, such as genomes, transcriptomics, and clinical cancer data.
