Brain controlled prosthetic hand using Electromyography sensor
This project is totally inclined towards designing and developing a prosthetic hand, smart enough to sense the brain stimulus and produce movements in the hand accordingly. The idea behind the project is simple that we want to assure self-sufficiency and dignity in the life of those who have lost their limbs in some accident or due to any ailment. This project mostly falls under the domain of robotics and healthcare, and it aims to revolutionize healthcare sector by the integration of robotics. The main motive of this project is to provide an affordable, simple, and robust alternative to needy that can precisely replicate the human hand movement to ease their living. It also aims its application in the field of precision where ultra-precise work is needed and probably in the field of humanoid robots. In first stage, the hand will be having independent commands for opening closing, picking & placing objects, and shaking hand. It will be controlled by Arduino UNO and servos whereas it will use EMG sensor for harnessing the muscle signals that can be later converted into movement.
