INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES AND ASSESSMENT OF LEARNING OUTCOMES IN ENGINEERING PEDAGOGY

Modern engineering pedagogy faces a difficult dilemma: how to combine traditional methods of training specialists with the need to quickly adapt to rapidly changing technological realities? This study is devoted to the analysis of innovative educational technologies that allow not only to effectively transfer knowledge, but also to objectively assess learning outcomes in technical disciplines. Particular attention is paid to practice-oriented methods, such as project-based learning, digital simulators and VR laboratories, which radically change the idea of the quality of engineering training. The author considers how modern data analytics systems help to track not only formal performance indicators, but also the development of critical competencies for an engineer - from systems thinking to teamwork skills. The study is based on the experience of implementing innovative methods in leading technical universities, demonstrating both their advantages and hidden difficulties. Particular emphasis is placed on the development of assessment criteria that would take into account not only the final result, but also the learning process, which is especially important in engineering education.
