Theoretical Framework: Contemporary migration phenomena and migrant children are discussed, intertwined with the concepts of whiteness, racial relations and early childhood education. Method: The research is qualitative with a methodological procedure of the State of Knowledge type. Data collection was the search for Theses and Dissertations in the area of Human Sciences in the databases: Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations and Capes Catalog. Results and Discussion: The studies analyzed show how Haitian migrant children are treated as different by teachers, and this difference is emphasized by their phenotypic traits and the Creole language. Teaching practices reflect ethnocentric traits that hinder the reception, interaction, and learning of these children. The limitation of this study is that it collected data from Brazilian theses and dissertations, and national/international scientific articles were not included in this collection. Research Implications: The practical and theoretical implications indicate the need for more attentive and sensitive national scientific production on the subject and focused on the creation of educational strategies that minimize the impacts of racism on the educational system, such as strengthening anti-racist actions in teacher training. Originality/Value: This study contributes to the scientific literature in the area of Education; its originality and relevance are evidenced by the contributions of the State of Knowledge that can boost scientific production in the field of ethnic-racial studies with migrant children.
