Method: The methodology adopted is a systematic review of literature on sustainable entrepreneurship and sustainable local development developed according to the PRISMA recommendation and inclusion and exclusion criteria associated with a bibliometric review. Data analysis follows a qualitative and quantitative focus. Results and Discussion: The results obtained revealed that of the 22 articles selected to constitute the theoretical framework of the research, 9 were published in Brazilian journals, with the authors Batista, M. L. P.; Macêdo, E. M.; Silva, A. J. and Barros, R. F. M. being the most prominent. In the last 5 years, the largest volume of publications was located in 2021, with 10 articles published. The journal with the largest number of publications relating the two thematic axes was Sustainability, with 4 articles selected. Research Implications: The practical and theoretical implications of this research are discussed, providing valuable insights into how the results can be applied or influence sustainable entrepreneurship practices in favor of sustainable local development in the Seridó Geopark territory. Originality/Value: This study contributes to the literature by retrieving from online repositories publications developed in the last five years that correlate sustainable entrepreneurship with sustainable local development.
