Logistics 5.0 in the Manaus Industrial Pole: Sustainability and Resilience in Electronics Supply Chains
Objective: The objective of this study is to investigate the application of Logistics 5.0 in the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM), focusing on the electronics industry, aiming to optimize supply chains through emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and collaborative automation, with an emphasis on sustainability and resilience. Theoretical Framework: The study is based on concepts such as Logistics 5.0, which integrates human-centricity and sustainability, and theories such as the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) and the circular economy. These concepts provide a foundation for understanding how collaboration between humans and machines can promote more resilient and environmentally responsible supply chains. Method: The research adopts a qualitative approach, with a literature review of recent studies on sustainable logistics and resilience. Secondary data from successful cases in Europe and the United States were analyzed and adapted to the PIM context to propose a maturity model for the implementation of Logistics 5.0. Results and Discussion: The results indicate that Logistics 5.0 can improve operational efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and increase the competitiveness of companies in the PIM. The discussion highlights the importance of collaborative automation, blockchain, and AI for the resilience and sustainability of supply chains, while also pointing out challenges such as logistics infrastructure and implementation costs. Research Implications: Practical implications include the adoption of green technologies, the reduction of carbon emissions, and improved management of electronic waste. Theoretically, the study contributes to the literature by integrating Logistics 5.0 with sustainability and resilience practices, offering a model applicable to other industrial poles. Originality/Value: This study stands out by proposing a maturity model for Logistics 5.0 in the context of the PIM, integrating emerging technologies with sustainable practices. The research provides valuable insights for companies seeking to adapt to global demands for more efficient and environmentally responsible operations.
