MODEL DEVELOPMENT OF THE NATURAL AND ECOLOGICAL FRAMEWORK OF AN URBANIZED TERRITORY: ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE CITY OF MAYKOP (REPUBLIC OF ADYGEA)

One of the ways to preserve the bioresource potential of territories is to create a model of a natural-ecological framework. The paper presents a pilot model of the natural-ecological framework of the city of Maikop interpreted using an approach that identifies key areas of the framework through identifying places (territories) of high concentration of protected insect species listed in the regional Red Book. Using cartographic material on the distribution of protected insect species, 5 key areas (cores and microcores) of the natural-ecological framework of the city were identified. The constructed natural-ecological framework of the city is one of the tools for maintaining and preserving the unique bioresource potential of the territory, which has been developing for many years. This study is the first step towards building a model of the regional level of the PEC - the Republic of Adygea.
