ISOLATION OF PROBIOTIC CULTURES OF MICROORGANISMS FROM THE SURFACE OF THE PLANT - STEVIA REBAUDIANA
Plant microbiota is diverse so the search selection and identification of individual types of microorganism cultures with potential biotechnological properties with their further use as probiotics is relevant. The article presents the results of a study of the morphological and tinctorial properties of probiotic bacterial strains isolated from plant microbiota. Microscopy showed that the studied strains (C37 and C45) have a rod-shaped form of bacteria, gram-positive, immobile, the presence of spores was not detected; the cell sizes were within (1.5-7.5) (1.2-1.5) μm. The studied probiotic cultures differ in macromorphology: the size of the colonies is small in strain C45, and in culture C37 it is 2-3 mm; the color of the colonies in strain C45 is white, C37 is grayish-white; a homogeneous structure is characteristic of strain C45 and fine-grained in culture C37.
