TO STUDY THE FAUNA (INSECTA: TRICHOPTERA, EPHEMEROPTERA, PLECOPTERA, COLEOPTERA) OF THE RESERVOIRS OF THE ZILAKHAR TRACT

This article is dedicated to the analysis of the species diversity of amphibiotic and aquatic insects in the reservoirs of the Zilakhar tract located in the mountain-forest zone in the Tsraudon River basin. The paper provides a primary list of species collected during hydrobiological collections conducted in 2016-2020. The list includes 65 species from 47 genera and 24 families. The order Ephemeroptera (mayflies) is represented by 14 species, the order Plecoptera (stoneflies) is represented by 15, the order Trichoptera (caddisflies) is represented by 28 and the order Coleoptera (coleoptera) is represented by 8 species. 19 species of the studied fauna are included in the latest third edition of the Red Book of the Republic of North Ossetia–Alania. The data obtained indicate the uniqueness of the faunistic complex and high species diversity in the studied reservoirs of the Zilakhar tract.
