N2 $${{B}^{{'3}}}\Sigma _{u}^{ - }$$ → B3Πg Emission in the Luminescence Spectrum of Nitrogen-Doped Solid Neon

Spectra of molecular nitrogen luminescence due to transitions between high-lying states $${{B}^{{'3}}}\Sigma _{u}^{ - }$$ and B3Πg as a result of thermally stimulated recombination of nitrogen atoms have been observed and identified for the first time in a neon matrix at 5 K.
